Nurturing Future Storytellers: AMWIK Engages Aspiring Journalists at JSAK Forum 

Association of Media Women in Kenya (AMWIK) participated in the Journalist Students Association of Kenya (JSAK) Forum, hosted at Kenya Methodist University (KeMU). The forum brought together vibrant student leaders from universities across Kenya offering media and communication studies. 

Representing AMWIK, Denis Mbau, Impact and Communications Liaison, joined Christine Nguku from the Media Council of Kenya in an engaging session with aspiring journalists. Discussions centered around the importance of vision, collaboration, and adaptability as core pillars in navigating today’s dynamic media landscape. 

The forum served as a valuable mentorship platform, equipping the next generation of media practitioners with the mindset and tools necessary for career success. AMWIK remains committed to supporting and shaping future storytellers who will uphold truth, ethics, and gender-sensitive reporting in Kenya’s media industry.
