We are delighted to share two important updates at the AMWIK secretariat.
We hereby announce the appointment of Lilian Museka as the Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEAL) Officer at AMWIK. Lilian is an active AMWIK member and a former Programs Officer. She brings over 16 years of experience in media and advocacy, particularly in promoting gender equality and women’s rights.
In her new position, Lilian will be responsible for developing and implementing robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks that align with our ongoing projects. We are excited to welcome Lilian into this new role.
We would also like to inform you about the transition of Lorna Seneiya Sempele from her position consulting as Programs Coordinator at AMWIK. Lorna has been an active member of AMWIK, contributing significantly not only to her role as Programs Coordinator but also as a volunteer on the Elections Committee.
Her efforts have greatly enhanced our initiatives, particularly in health reporting and capacity building for journalists. We sincerely thank Lorna for her dedication and hard work. As she embarks on her new journey, we wish her all the best in her future endeavours.
