NEW AMWIK PROGRAMMES MANAGER APPOINTMENT NOTICE
The Association of Media Women in Kenya is pleased to announce the appointment of Sharon Kechula as the new Programmes Manager at the Association of Media Women in Kenya, effective 4th July 2023.
Sharon brings to AMWIK a wealth of experience and expertise in implementing local and international projects with a particular interest in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and Women Empowerment.
Her 11 years of experience in grants management, project implementation and coordination, monitoring and evaluation, stakeholder engagement, policy and advocacy, grant and proposal writing and program oversight aligns perfectly with the goals and vision of our association.
As the Programmes Manager, Sharon will oversee the planning, development, and execution of all programs and initiatives. She will work closely with the dedicated team at the secretariat to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs that deliver more value to our members and partners.
Sharon holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Disaster Management and International Diplomacy and a Diploma in Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology.
Sharon will replace Lilian Museka, who has since left AMWIK but continues to remain a valuable member of AMWIK. We are forever grateful for her continued support and dedication to AMWIK. We wish her all the best in her next endeavours.
