AMWIK Explores Partnership Opportunities with the Iranian Embassy

The AMWIK team had a productive meeting with representatives from the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Kenya. Discussions focused on potential areas of collaboration to empower women in Kenyan media.

The talks covered creating new opportunities for AMWIK members, joint initiatives to promote media interventions, content collaboration and knowledge sharing, joint advocacy efforts, funding opportunities and other ways of strengthening engagement between AMWIK and the Iranian Embassy.

We look forward to exploring these possibilities further and working together to advance the important role of women in Kenyan media.
